FROSTY FLICKS!
This really is a terrible post because it's a bit vague. But I know Norshore does this movie deal. I've gone on the Tuesdays in the past (okay, once) but it's going to be Saturdays, which could be fun for the fam, ya know?
Here's what it says:
Warm up with Marcus Theatres® this winter! Join us February 6th - March 20th, 2010 on Saturday mornings at 10am to view your favorite family flicks for just $3! Popcorn is included, so grab the family and head to your nearest participating Marcus Theatre® location!

I didn't see schedule, but I'm sure there's one somewhere.

Discovery World Discounted Passes
If anyone is interested, I found this site today. You can get a family pass to Discovery World for $37.50. We went last week and Carter absolutely loved it. You do have to pay for parking, although you may be able to find some street parking. It's normally $75 for a family pass, so it's half off. There are only 32 left, so you will probably want to act quickly.

Discovery World Discount
Now through the end of the year, you can get $5 off the price of admission to Discovery World when you bring in 3 non-perishable food items.
I know I haven't been there yet, mainly because of the cost. This looks like a great way to see it for less!

Christmas Cultural Events -- Kid Friendly?
I have this sugar plum vision in my head this year -- I would like to take my kids (or at least Brooklyn) to some kind of Christmas play or musical performance. Growing up, my mom often took us to "Christmas Around the World", a dance production done by students at Brigham Young University. Last year, I went with friends to see the world-famous Radio City Rockettes. My only regret was that I didn't bring Brooklyn, as it turns out, I think she would have really enjoyed it. Does anyone know of a kid-friendly production of "A Christmas Carol", or something else that would be fun for our family? I'm almost thinking something small, and local, like a high school production would be sensible; but I don't know what the kids might like.
Also, if you're ready to kick off the holiday season this Saturday is the Milwaukee Holiday Parade. We went a few years back and really enjoyed it. If the day is warm enough that the kids can be comfortable when bundled up, it's pretty fun. We'll probably head down if anyone is interested in joining us. It starts at 9:30am at the intersection of Astor St. and Kilbourn Ave. It travels west on Kilbourn Ave. to Old World 3rd St, where it turns south for a few blocks to Wisconsin Ave.

Snow suit needed
Does anyone have an infant snowsuit I can borrow this winter? I just need something I can put Ben in really quick to take Carter to the bus stop in the mornings.

Family Free Day at Zoo
In case anyone is interested, tomorrow (Saturday November 7th) is a Family Free Day at the Milwaukee Zoo. I believe you still have to pay for parking unless you park outside.
