Free Audiobooks

The Wisconsin Library system now has I-Pod compatible formats of audiobooks. They only have about 1,000 titles right now, but I found several I wanted to check out in just a few minutes. I found the site where you can download the audiobooks at http://countycat.mcfls.org/ (the Milwaukee County online catalog). Under "other resources" on the upper right, you can click on "Overdrive Audiobooks: 1,000 Titles now Enabled for I-Pod". Like hard copies, the books are only available for a certain number of people and you have a rental period. Check it out!
